154 6. (Minor) amendment to the curriculum for the master's programme in Education
In order to improve the manageability of the programme and make it easier for students to plan their studies, a decision has been made to standardise the ECTS credits for elective modules, so that all elective modules are now worth 5 ECTS (= one seminar). Students must still complete 30 ECTS within the group of elective modules.
Students who started an elective module 8, 9, 12 or 15 up to and including the summer semester 2026 may continue to complete it with 10 ECTS. If no second seminar is completed, the modules in question will be deemed to have been completed with 5 ECTS from the winter semester 2026/27 onwards.
From the winter semester 2026 onwards, elective modules 8, 9, 12 and 15 may only be started and completed with 5 ECTS (= one seminar).
In total, therefore, six seminars worth 5 ECTS each from different elective modules must be completed within the group of elective modules.
