Extension Curricular (EC)

For the majority of bachelor studies, extension curricula (EC) must be completed in addition to compulsory and elective subjects of the student's own study program. An EC is a predefined group of modules worth 15 or 30 ECTS credits. Almost all fields of study offer ECs. Unless otherwise specified in the curriculum of one's own degree program, one can choose freely from the EC offerings.

In order to be able to take exams for an EC, you must also register for the EC in question in u:space

(= u:space - courses - extension curricula - relevant BA-study - select EC - save),

when registering for an exam you have to select the number of the EC, e.g. 182 for "Ethics".
